November 24, 1986 - March 6, 2003

At 16 years 3
1/2 months,
Tian lived a long and happy life. She was a mother, a grand-mother & a
great-great-grandmother. She earned at least two championships before her
breed, the
Shiba Inu, was even
recognized by the AKC & after they were
she won a four point major. But her greatest achievement
& role was that
as a companion, a friend, & our heart-daughter.
We will have a
whole in our hearts that nothing will ever fill. I will never again have a pushy
little
red bitch to bug the heck out of me to let me know she wanted me in bed
and in bed NOW!!! when
I stayed up too late. We will never again have her make the
Daddy wake up the Mommy because
she wanted to be let out to
potty in the mornings & she would only allow the Mommy to do it. We
will never
again be able to laugh at the fact that she could put my Rottie on his back with
just a
growl & a raising of her lip. We will never again have to cuddle & comfort her
when there's a storm
outside & the "booming" is scaring her. We will never
again have to whisper the word "go" and
play "hide the money" when the Mommy was
going to get fast food and couldn't take her
along for some reason.
But even though
she was with us for such a short time, she will forever be in out hearts.
Sleep well, dear daughter, until we meet on the other side.
